High precision centerless grinder

I. Overview


The centerless grinder is one of the important equipment widely used in cylindrical grinding in mechanical processing. The original feed is manual or hand cranking. The disadvantage is that the feed is uneven during cutting and grinding, and the polishing time is not controlled properly. The accuracy is poor and the efficiency is low. A factory in Zhejiang cooperated closely with Stepper Technology Co., Ltd., and developed a highly reliable, high-precision, and cost-effective centerless grinder servo feed control system using the Kinco-K3 series PLC independently developed by Stepper Technology Co., Ltd., and the geometric accuracy of the workpiece The efficiency is greatly improved.




Second, realize the function


According to the principle of grinding technology, the control system realizes the following functions:


1. Start → rapid feed → slow feed → smooth grinding delay → fast retreat to the origin.


2. The positioning accuracy is ± 1 μ.


3. Stop the machine after counting up → trim.


4. Press reset at any time → fast rewind to the origin.


5. Return to the origin first after power on.


6. The home position zero point is determined and memorized.


7. The touch screen screen can set the fast forward speed, fast backward speed, slow forward speed, fast forward amount, slow forward amount, polishing delay time, count and repair the whole number. And display the actual position, the delay time of polishing, and the counting function.




Three, control system realization


The control core PLC selects Kinco-K304-14AT of Kinco-K3 series, which has 8 inputs/6 transistor outputs, and touch screen as human-computer interaction.


There is an automatic/manual switch on the touch screen, which can switch between manual operation and automatic operation; with forward and backward jogs, single-step forward and backward can be realized. As well as parking for external emergencies.


Kinco-K304-14AT of the Kinco-K3 series sends out pulses to control the forward and reverse rotation of the servo motor to achieve precise positioning according to the operator's setting. At the same time, the pulse is input to I0.1 of Kinco-K304-14AT for high-speed counting in order to display the actual position and observe the precise positioning.




Four, summary


The actual operation shows that the dimensional accuracy, roundness, cylindricity, and surface roughness are all significantly improved. Convenient operation and automation reduce labor intensity, good cost performance, improve the technical content of the manufacturer's products, and increase added value.
